While in Gimmelwald I went out to eat with a young couple from New Jersey named David and Beth. In the middle of dinner a local guy took out his accordion and began blasting traditional folk tunes. He played one song we recognized: a reggae classic called Rivers of Babylon which was on the soundtrack of the 1972 movie The Harder They Come which was famous for introducing reggae to America. The song lost a little bit in translation when played on the accordion by a white Swiss guy.
