While wandering in East Berlin, I came across several abandoned factories. Some young "anarchist" squatters have made one of them their home. I spoke with several of the so-called "anarchists" and they were polite, respectful kids. They pretty much allow anyone to stay there as long as they're peaceful and don't cause problems. In the evenings they set up a nightclub where they sell beer and host local punk bands.
