Am I In San Francisco?
This is the "25th Of April Bridge" which spans the Tagus River in Lisbon. It commemorates the day in 1975 when Portugal became a democracy after fifty years of dictatorship under a guy named Salazar. The locals compare it to the Golden Gate Bridge and will tell you they were designed by the same guy. Not true, although it was built by the construction company who built the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge. By the way, before 1975 it was named after dictator Salazar and was called the "Salazar - I'm A Big F*****g Asshole Bridge."
