Midnight In Paris - Part 4

The famous English language bookstore, Shakespeare & Company, was originally owned by Silvia Beach. Its current location was opened by George Whitman who recently died at the age of 97. This is the bookstore Hemingway frequented and where he ate dinner with Beach in her apartment above the store. Hemingway and James Joyce met there in 1928. If my memory serves me, in the movie this is where Gil runs into his love interest after calling it quits with his fiance.
